When you commission a custom AI system, you should know exactly what you own, what we own, and what's protected on both sides. We don't hide any of this in fine print.

What you own

Your knowledge base — every brand voice document, SOP, FAQ database, persona brief, decision rule, and integration configuration we create together is yours. If you ever leave Egregore, we hand over the full export. You walk away with everything that defines your business operations.

What we own

The underlying orchestration code, system templates, infrastructure tooling, and build patterns we've developed across all client projects. These are Egregore's IP — refined with every deployment. Your system runs on our infrastructure (our GitHub repositories, our deployment pipelines, our monitoring layer), which is what makes it possible for us to maintain, update, and improve it continuously.

Why this protects you

Because the system lives in our infrastructure, you get continuous improvements, security patches, and AI model updates without lifting a finger. We can't disappear on you — your business depends on us showing up, and our reputation depends on you continuing to grow.

Why this protects us

We've spent years building the patterns, infrastructure, and orchestration logic that make these systems work. Clients receive the benefit of all that R&D, but they don't receive the underlying source code. This is the same model used by every SaaS company you already trust — the difference is that we customize the system to your specific business, rather than offering one-size-fits-all software.

In practice

You can cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. You keep your knowledge base.
You cannot resell, white-label, or productize the system we build for you.
We cannot use your data to train models or share it with other clients.
All of this is codified in our standard Master Service Agreement, which you'll review before signing.
